Program Overview
Camp Kupaa Mwanga offers an educational experience for students entering grades 1 through 12. Our approach is unique in that the program focuses on the whole person: physical, mental, and spiritual by offering an interest based curriculum in efforts to boost their receptivity and cognitive ability for the betterment of themselves and others.
Optimizing the customization and enhancement of students' educational experience, we employ several teaching modalities such as: Montessori, Waldorf and Homeschool, each allowing students a tailored approach to their education. Mixed aged activities, gentle nurturing approach, nature-based learning experiences, and family-oriented structuring, just to name a few.
In addition to learning based on their interest and skill level, older students are given tools in order to collectively construct and employ a functioning business by the programs end, further enhancing their socio-emotional awareness and the ability to retain valuable knowledge and skills.
Students will also learn techniques in order to raise their spiritual awareness. This is achieved by studying the effects of deep breathing and visualization techniques, daily yogic and movement practices, and positive affirmations. Students will also learn about cognitive function as it relates to energy and frequency.
